The San Fernando Valley franchise dealer of Ford sold around 140 new vehicles on the Friday after Thanksgiving which was a single day record in itself. This was reported by the Galpin Ford, the nation's largest Ford dealership. It was 50% more than the last year's November sales. Beau Boeckmann, the vice president of Galpin commented, "I don't think we expected that November would be the biggest car month since 'cash for clunkers' two years ago. It was surprising for all of us." A hike in the Car sales would also affect the Auto Buisness Insurance Industry.
