What a mess?
The site contains a range of articles about understanding insurance.  However there is a lack of content on safety and travel advice. We eventually found an alerts section on the Help Desk but this type of information should be on the landing page.  The site is in a bit of a state to be honest. It has a very ‘thrown together‘ look, is disorganized and very difficult to locate information on.

How easy is it to get an online quote? Here we evaluate how insurance quotes are given and the time it takes to get a quote..

They have a ‘Policy Picker’ to help you ‘quote, compare and buy’.  This took a little while to load but came back with an impressive range of travel insurance quotes.  These can be compared against each other or expanded upon for further details.

The tool works well and gives a good selection of results.

There are a range of insurance policies on offer; basic, adventure, worldwide, student, medical and more.

Basic packages include all the bare minimum benefits such as trip cancellation, delay, medical, baggage and more.

Why is it different to other insurance sites? We graded on originality and innovation..

Worldtravelcenter.com has a good range of plans and a decent search tool but is far from innovative. It is the equivalent of a Middle Eastern Bazaar with information, articles, promos and tools all flung haphazardly around the home page. It is hard to establish exactly what is on the site and where to find it.

These guys may have a lot of ideas but they will give many of their customers a headache!
