Insure.com is part of the massive QuinStreet group who specialize in putting customers in touch with companies across a range of industries. Their foray into the world of online insurance is fairly new so we ventured onto their site to find out more.

When you type in your state and the area of insurance you are looking for, a list of online insurance companies in your area is provided.

There is a pool of more than 100 companies on the insure.com database. However, to obtain quotes you need to visit the sites of individual insurance companies so your price and policy comparison is still carried out independent of this site.

Although this narrows down your trawl for insurance you still need to fill out online tools at a range of sites to compare insurance, so the site only really does half the job.

The system is easy to use and well laid out. There is also a search box for free searches or direct landing at the point you want to be.

Why is it different to other insurance sites? We graded on originality and innovation..

This site stands out for two main reasons;

-The layout, design and navigation make it easy to use and
-The quality and quantity of information contained on it give it depth and real value.

However, the online comparison tool is not up to the speed of others so this lets the site down.
