The quotation tool includes a central inputting form which then produces three quotes. However, we were given minimal information on each policy so could not easily compare insurance quotes, other than by price.  This did not compare well to rival sites.

Confusingly, although this site is called carinsurance.com it does in fact sell a wider range of insurance, including business, home, health and life insurance.  It operates across all 50 States.

Quality of the information. Here we look at the quality of the insurance information and articles on the website. Does the content give you a good breakdown about the cover? Is the language easy to follow?.
There are a good range of articles at the Learning Centre as well as insurance tips, news and tools. There is room for improvement in the organization and promotion of this content but it is certainly useful and varied.

Why is it different to other insurance sites? We graded on originality and innovation..

The design of this site is pretty basic and the contents has its highs and lows.

Although the Learning Centre contained some useful resources there is no getting away from the fact that the quotation tool is under par.  This really needs to be the jewel of the site with everything else coming secondary. Somehow the priorities have taken a wrong turn here.
