There is a search tool that allows you to search by state for agents offering specific programs, workers’ compensation or technology tools.

It worked fine but we were confused about the terms used and felt it needed further explanation or, preferably a pull down menu to select from.  In addition the results do not provide commercial insurance quotes just agents for you to approach.

All in all this tool didn’t give us the detail that other sites provide.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

There are some good navigational tools but some of them, for example in the Find a Market section, do require further explanation and refinement (see Quotes comments).
Other areas of the site, for example the Web Guide, also lacked adequate explanation as to their purpose and usage. Overall the site has a mass of varied content and the navigation tool provides order and quick access it does however need the i’s dotting and t’s crossing.

Just what can I insure here? This parameter evaluates the range of business and commercial insurance policies on offer at this site..
This site lacks detail on the specifics.  It talks about all things insurance but does not focus on specific industries, policies and plans.  Although this is an industry as opposed to customer-facing site we still felt that it needed a section on this important area.

Why is it different to other business insurance websites? We graded on originality and innovation..
The site includes a forum, polls, e-newsletter, videos and podcasts.  It has a range of industry news articles which can be filtered for locality. On the whole it is a busy site that tries to embrace some modern web features.

Can you contact the site with queries? This grades the email support and telephone contacts available to users..
Fax, phone, address and email are all avenues for support.

There is a forum on this site but it doesn’t appear to link in to any social networks which is a bit of an oversight.

Here we look at the quality of the business insurance information and articles on the website. Does the content give you a good breakdown about the cover? Is the language easy to follow or does it use over-complicated business jargon?.
The content of this site is industry related discussing current news, industry activity and promoting discussion. However there are major weaknesses such as the lack of specifics on policies and plans.
