Quality of the information. Here we look at the quality of the insurance information and posts on the blog. Is the language easy to follow? Have they been able to make insurance interesting?.

Very Simple

A lot of the content relates to recent magazine articles or blogs. They link in and then summarize and comment upon them. This blog does prompt readers to comment so are obviously posting newsworthy threads. However, it would be nice to see them generate their own ideas and not relying too much on responsive insurance blogs.

How easy is it to navigate around the site? We tried and tested it out and graded..

There are archives and recent posts but is missing a search by topic tool.

Who writes this blog? Is it one person or a group of consumers? We looked at the description or bio of the bloggers to find out who or what company is behind this blog?.

There are a few snippets about the blog manager but we don’t really get to see the personality behind the blog. All a bit minimal really.

Why is it different to other insurance blogs? We graded on originality and innovation..

It won an award in 2008 but this insurance blog now needs to keep up with the competition in 2010. It lacks multimedia and social dimensions to be a player in today’s market.
